Electric cars are heavy because of the battery they carry. Electric vehicles are way more heavier than the traditional gasoline cars. Because of this reason the Tires get torn very easily which increases the frequency of changing the tires. The more tire the vehicle will use the more damage you are making to the environment. The idea can be to use the lighter material to reduce the weight of the car so that the car may use the energy efficiently and sustainably.
Production Overloads The Grid
Electric car causes problem for the power grid, it generally happens when a lot of people put their car at charging at the same time. This puts a lot of loads in the power grid which results in power cut. When it is overloaded, it starts relying more on dirty fuels, which ultimately harms the environment. It can be improved by improving the grid system which can take more loads at the same time. This will ensure to help the environment instead of hurting it. It should be kept in mind that the balance between electric car and the energy system clean and green.
Emission from Tire and Break
Traditional cars produces emission from the engine, we all are aware of that, but have you ever heard of emission from breaks and tires? Yes, this is real, electric cars are heavier than the gas cars because of the battery they have, making the car more heavy, it decreases the life the of tire.
Tires in the traditional cars lasts longer than the tires in the electric cars, when more tires are used more emission comes, when those tires are recycled. Emission analysts says that emission from the tires is 1,000 times bad than emission from the combustion.
Similarly, when breaks are applied to stop a heavy vehicle, the break pad gets used very easily because of the more force. The break pads contributes to 20% of road side pollution.
